The American Nurses Foundation is now accepting applications for American Nurses Foundation Nurse Scholars program.

This scholarship, made possible through funding from the United Health Foundation, provides scholars with the opportunity to receive a total of $10,000 ($5,000 per year if eligibility is maintained). We at the Texas Nurses Association extend our heartfelt sympathies to all those impacted by the disastrous floods that occurred in Texas over the July 4th weekend. Nurses are also affected by disasters and are equally concerned about the safety of their own families and homes. We want Texas nurses to know that we are here for you and stand ready to support you in this devastating time.

The Texas Nurses Association and Texas Nurses Foundation are here to support Texas Nurses dealing with the aftermath of the flooding. In response, the Texas Nurses Foundation Disaster Relief Fund has been established to help ease the financial burden some of our Texas nurses may be facing. All money collected will be distributed directly to nurses living in any one of the Texas counties declared disaster areas.
