New to retinol?? We recommend these tips to minimize irritation:

1. Start slow. Use Retinol 1-2x/week at night only to get acclimated

2. Apply to dry skin. Damp skin will hasten absorption possibly causing more irritation

3. Use a potent, but gentle formulation. Ideally, the product should contain a time-released form of retinol like All-Trans Retinol - super effective, yet gentler than other forms

4. Use the “sandwich” method - apply a hydrating serum, apply retinol, follow with moisturizer

“Should I be using eye cream?”

💯yes!!!

If you’re over the age of 25, then yes! You should absolutely be using eye cream.👁️

Tips for choosing an eye cream:

✨lighter formulas are great for younger skin (ages 25-late 30s), thicker formulas are better for more mature skin (40s+)

✨choose medical-grade products - they contain higher levels of active ingredients for better results AND they are generally safer for sensitive eyes

✨start by using 1x/day and then ideally increase to 2x/day

✨eye creams should be applied after serums but before moisturizer

We recommend PHI EYE360 for those under 35 and PHI Peptide+Firming Eye Cream for those over 35. But both are safe for all ages and all skin types, so you can choose based on personal preference too!
