DiagnosTEX was founded in 2003 in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, co-founded and operated by Ronda Polansky, Pam Ragland, Dr. Nat Baumer and Dr. Russ Lambert. We proudly and passionately served our community for 21 years. The company was acquired in May 2024 by Patheous Health, Inc. We are heartbroken to hear of the recent decision to close the practice, and we want to assure our past clients and colleagues that we were not a part of this decision or other decisions made since the acquisition. We want to thank everyone for the many years of support, friendship, and unwavering loyalty to our small DFW practice and the passion we had for the quality instrumental evaluation of dysphagia.

Topics will include the swallowing physiology patterns that are found throughout the progression of the various stages of life from pediatrics to geriatrics. This includes very specific instrumental assessment components, incorporating environmental factors, food consistencies and functional strategies for managing patients with dysphagia. It is a Speech Pathologist’s job to identify those who are often overlooked, while properly assessing and advocating for the best outcomes in dysphagia management.
