I think one of the hardest things about my last week was the realization that I've spent my career being thankful for my clients, how they've shaped me, allowed me to participate in the most joyous and also the darkest regions of their lives and that in many ways it is ME thankful for YOU.

I was unprepared to see your reaction to your loss of "table time". I was unprepared for how much you looked forward to it, cherished it, depended on it. I was unprepared to see you grieve it openly. Those who brought the most thoughtful of gifts... please know that each of them have a special place in my home and for those who gifted money, it is set aside for a special trinket I'll come across when it is time. Thank you for ALL that you have brought me.

I cannot replace that table time, but I am sharing this group as it will hold similar conversations that happened over our time together.

As I move forward and expand this version of my career, the focus will be on healing and self-growth. The emphasis will include but is not limited to anxiety, depression, self-esteem and trauma recovery. This is your invite to join or share. Or both. All things are under construction but will be up and fully functional over the next week.

In a nutshell I will be focused on transformational coaching, energy medicine and Rapid Transformational Therapy, a type of hypnosis focused on solving the root of your issue. You are welcome to join and invite anyone you think would benefit.

I sincerely hope I leave this legacy as I transition to a new adventure.

The end of the year I pass the final torch to Daniela. Some of you have already met her, some of you have waited. Rest assured, she was an easy pick to step into my shoes. 👟

Words cannot convey how deeply this affects me, how deeply each of you have shaped and impacted my life. I often say that my job is the care and keeping of magical creatures…you.

For those of you who do love a good road trip, I’m nestled in the hill country and will happily see you there any time you choose to wander the Texas highways.

Lots going on behind the scenes y'all! Expected full roll-out will be 10/1/23 but I couldn't wait to introduce this piece. Coaching and energy medicine are inherently intertwined in my work and often clients want the energy work for it's more immediate affects. Especially since slowing down long enough to make, much less execute a session is a task all on it's own.

Oy vey. A recent article by a waxing company has us on full cringe! Our sugaring company Sugar Streak had the following response and yes, we ARE your Sugar Expert. Since 2003 we’ve been removing the toughest hair on the most sensitive skin. Come see the sweeter side of smooth.

Dear Waxing Company,

Regarding your recent article stating "The cons of sugaring revolve around the effectiveness of the type of hair removal. Since sugaring removes hair in the direction of hair growth, instead of against it as waxing does, it can often leave hairs behind to fail to fail to extract the entire hair from the root. Especially for those with thicker or more coarse hair, sugaring's gentler process can often not bring the level of power people need from their hair removal method.

Additionally, since sugaring isn't as powerful as regular waxing, it has a larger chance of hair breakage and the development of ingrown if it fails to extract the entire hair." let us just say WRONG.

While we appreciate the point of the article was to promote your new specialty formula for sensitive skin, we'd like to take this opportunity to let you know that you are misinformed.

Hair removal doesn't require a powerful methodology to be effective, because the effectiveness has everything to do with far more than technique. It requires understanding the client's hair to skin relationship. It requires understanding what might be locking hair in place like dry or dehydrated skin or products that occlude the pores making extraction difficult or even impossible.

Which is why we train our professionals on far more than technique. Who are then educating their clients on the true benefits of sugaring including the ones you listed as well as
😎 refining and diminishing hair
🤩 the ability to extract shorter hairs
🥳 completely water-soluble making it MUCH safer for the skin
🥸 LESS ingrown hairs because we're removing WITH the direction of hair growth, not against
and more.

Sugaring is the most skin-friendly option for hair removal on the market today. Most of us sugaring companies who manufacture and train professionals also build products designed to maximize home care that aligns with professional sugaring for the maximum results in any sugaring service. Leftover hair isn't because sugaring doesn't work.

Finally, there are definitely differences between sugar and wax. Once you know the real reasons why, well you know what they say...
