With winter weather season upon us, we want to share a quick reminder regarding inclement weather.

North Texas Counseling Associates follows the local school districts’ closing schedules for weather-related closures.

If schools are closed due to inclement weather, our office will also be closed, and all sessions will be canceled for the day. We will communicate any closures or changes as soon as possible.

As always, client and staff safety comes first.

Recently, Dr. Fincher's dog, Scout, came for a day visit to spend some time with friends he made when he was a puppy. He is still as sweet as ever, loving the snuggles and pets.

According to girls themselves, 80 percent say they would be less afraid to try new things if mistakes are praised more as learning opportunities, eight in ten would also feel more confident to show their work and would value progress over perfection.
