Sandy’s homemade elderberry pie, made with berries from her own garden, wasn’t just delicious. It was a beautiful example of the heart she puts into everything she does. Her thoughtfulness, creativity, and care are felt far beyond the kitchen — they’re part of what makes our community so special.

In honor of Culinary Arts Month, we’re celebrating team members like Sandy — and all those who turn meals into moments. From everyday comfort foods to special homemade touches like this one, our culinary team plays an essential role in making Danbury feel like home. Life really is sweeter with a team like this.

🐾 Outlaw Farm Alpacas, LLC visited us today and absolutely made our day! 🦙☀️

Our residents had a wonderful time petting and learning all about Zeus and Apollo, the two friendly alpacas who stole everyone’s hearts. 💛

We sipped lemonade, enjoyed cookies, and even had alpaca lollipops to sweeten the experience. What a special day full of smiles, sunshine, and furry friends!
