About Us

We are different than the traditional yoga studio. We operate as a “private” space; meaning, all clients are taken in through appointment & scheduled events. Although we use the term private, we are always inclusive. We welcome anyone to step onto their mat and all our offerings are beginner friendly. - - - ✨ What do we offer? *Private 1:1 sessions *Private group sessions (with a partner, friends or family) *Indoor and outdoor practice space *Monthly events; tickets open to the public. *Workshops & education *Retreats - - - ✨ Who Am I? I’m Katie. I am the owner & the sole instructor within the space. I have been practicing yoga for a while, and teaching for almost two years. Yoga provides me freedom from my anxiety and stressors, connections with others & now a wonderful career. But, I can’t take all the credit. I often use the term “we” within my posts, because I have lots of wonderful support behind the scenes. My boyfriend, my parents, brothers, and close friends, who continue to assist in the operation of Farmhouse. - - - ✨ Why Farmhouse? I’ve created Farmhouse to specifically reflect a vision I have, in a place I love most. A space that is a quaint, personalized and focuses on detail. Farmhouse opened its doors in July 2019. Workshops & events only offer 10 spots, to keep the space inviting and comfortable. Farmhouse is located on the Dettore Farm, in North Ridgeville, the residence of my upbringing, family and life; the studio resides within my grandfather's office space, where the farm's story and life continues to live on. Tastefully decorated and designed with locally acquired and handmade products to maintain a rustic feel. Farmhouse was created to give any student a personalized experience, because everybody and every BODY is different.
