We are a family owned and operated funeral home providing dedicated funeral and cremation services to our community for 6 generations.

For over 60 years the North Riverside community has trusted Kuratko Funeral Home with helping them plan the celebrations of lives lived. Today, we are proud to add the Nosek tradition to the Kuratko name. Unlike some funeral homes in our area that are part of a large corporate entity, our funeral home is owned and operated by the Nosek Family, a family that has been caring for our friends and neighbors for generations. Our facility offers a spacious coffee lounge and childrens corner for your comfort and convenience. We ask for feedback from each family we serve regarding specific areas of our service. As a result, we can make appropriate adjustments to further improve our level of service. Free Grief Support Group at the Township of Lyons on the following dates: THIS THURSDAY September 18, October 16, November 20, December 18 (Third Thursday of the month).

This free monthly, community-based grief support group is for individuals navigating the complexities of loss. Each session includes educational components, group discussions, and therapeutic activities designed to normalize grief and foster resilience. This is a peer-support group and is not therapy.

The WPSU documentary Speaking Grief will be used throughout the group as a point of discussion. Feel free to self-view at www.speakinggrief.org or attend the community screening at the Township session this Thursday at 5pm.

It was a fantastic day filled with great conversations, helpful resources, and lots of smiling faces. We truly appreciate all who attended and helped make this event such a success.
