It was truly a privilege and joy to honor our resident veterans this week. Thank you to Suncrest Hospice for presiding over a very special pinning ceremony, with recognition given to those who served in the armed forces and to their spouses. Afterwards we enjoyed a time of singing together with fun Americana songs, and kept the patriotic spirit going with some star spangled painted totes!

On the good ship Lollipop, it’s a sweet trip to a candy shop! We celebrated National Candy Day with a sugary, chocolatey happy hour. Our Culinary Director Andy channeled his best W***y Wonka to bring us delicious creations like candy bar salad and chocolate bacon bark! But nothing was sweeter than all the smiles 😊🍭🍫🍬

Our Wellness Wednesday focus this month was Gratitude & Diabetes Management. In this season of thankfulness, we are so grateful for our care partnerships with EmpowerMe Wellness, Adoration Hospice, Bayada Home Health Care, and our new addition Abode Care Partners for the ways you serve our community! The event was full of smiling faces, sugar-free treats, and cheerful sunflowers 🌻
