Meditation and mindfulness are often used interchangeably.
But they’re not the same.

Meditation is a practice.
A space you intentionally set aside to focus your attention, through breath, stillness, or guided awareness.

Mindfulness is something you bring into your day.
The ability to notice what’s happening, in your body, your thoughts, or your environment, without immediately reacting.

One builds the other.

Meditation creates the conditions.
Mindfulness is how it shows up in real life.

Both matter.
And both can be practiced in small, accessible ways.

• Deepen trauma-informed, attachment-centered, and nervous system-aware work
• Build confidence with complex trauma, dissociation, and developmental wounds

She meets you where you are in your development and walks alongside you as your skills expand. Supervision is tailored to your goals, with space for reflection, skill-building, and honest conversation about the realities of this work.

This class moves at a steady pace, with time to notice your breath, soften tension, and reconnect with your body without pressure to perform or keep up.
Lauren guides the practice in a way that supports both movement and stillness, allowing the nervous system to settle while sound helps create a deeper sense of rest and internal quiet.
For many people, this hour becomes less about exercise and more about creating enough space to feel present again.

Meditation doesn’t always mean sitting still.

Breath and journaling bring it into action.
One supports your physiology. The other helps you make sense of what’s there.

Together, they create space between what you feel and how you respond.

Start simple:
• Take a few slow breaths, extending your exhale
• Notice what’s present without trying to change it
• Write it out, without filtering
• End with one clear takeaway or next step

This isn’t about clearing your mind.
It’s about learning how to stay with yourself, with a little more clarity and direction.
