I was so excited to see this amazing mom and her gorgeous family 6 months postpartum for a social visit, and I’ve had the honor of serving her for two of her pregnancies and births 🥰🥰🥰 Oh, and she is a mom to FOUR boys! At Sage Midwifery, our care doesn’t stop when plans change. When a transfer to the hospital becomes the safest choice, your midwife goes with you—providing continuity, advocacy, and familiar support every step of the way.
We know physiologic birth deeply, and we also know when a higher level of care is needed. That decision is made together with intention and respect—for your body, your baby, and your safety. We don’t wait for emergencies; we act when it’s appropriate.
And when you return home, we’re still right there with you. With six postpartum visits, we continue caring for you and your baby as you recover, adjust, and settle into this new chapter.

One hour. Every visit.
At Sage Midwifery, prenatal visits are never rushed. We spend a full hour together, getting to know you, answering your questions, talking through decisions, and making sure you feel confident and supported in your pregnancy.
Most Sage families have around 11 prenatal visits before their baby arrives. That’s more than ten hours of face-to-face care with your midwives.
In many hospital-based practices—whether with OBs or hospital midwives—prenatal appointments are often 10–15 minutes long, squeezed between full clinic schedules. Providers may want to give more time, but the system rarely allows it.
We believe families deserve better.
Time builds trust.
Time allows real conversations.
Time supports informed choices.
This kind of relationship-centered care isn’t extra—it’s the gold standard of midwifery care, and it’s what every family deserves. ✨
