We had a great time partnering with the Buffalo Bisons baseball team for our back-to-school event last month!

Together, Molina and the Bisons gave away jerseys, tickets, signed baseballs and 200 backpacks at our Community Resource Center in Buffalo. It was a fun and fulfilling event for our teams and the 300 families we served!

Thank you to the Bisons and our generous vendors, including CINQCARE, Erie County Health Department/Erie County Community Health Center, SNAP and WIC of Catholic Charities Buffalo, Liberty Dental, and more.

Molina Healthcare is collaborating with A Home For All, powered by United Way of Greater Charlotte and other North Carolina community organizations to launch Wellness Without Walls – an innovative pilot program designed to increase access to mental health care for unsheltered North Carolinians.

The program brings on-the-ground mental health care directly to Mecklenburg County residents experiencing homelessness. Molina’s grant partnership will help integrate medication management into the program, setting participants up for long-term success.

We care about what you think!

Some Molina Healthcare of New York members will soon get a survey in the mail. It’s called the CAHPS® Survey. It asks questions about your health care. For example, it may ask how easy it is to see a doctor, how well your doctor listens and how we can make your care better.

If you get the survey, please fill it out. Your answers help us make changes that help you and your family. We may add more doctors, offer more video visits and make it easier to get your medicine.

Your voice helps shape your care. If you see the CAHPS Survey in your mailbox, we’d love to hear from you!

For questions contact Member Services at (800) 223-7242 (TTY: 711) Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. https://www.molinahealthcare.com/members/ny/mem/quality/CAHPS-Results.aspx

Do you know your lemons? It's recommended that women perform breast self-exams monthly, but what should you be looking for when you do? This graphic from KnowYourLemons.org explains what to look for and feel when you check your breasts each month.

Regular self-exams will help you to feel and see what is normal for your breasts and detect any changes in them. Noticing and reporting any changes, like lumps or skin discoloration, to your doctor can help them catch and treat signs of breast cancer.
