Meet Dr. Ron – Now Accepting New Patients at Thrive!

Originally from Wallkill, NY, Dr. Ron found his passion for chiropractic after football injuries in high school showed him the power of healing through movement.

He earned his B.S. in Kinesiology from SUNY Brockport and graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Northeast College of Health Sciences in March 2025.

Now, he’s pursuing advanced training in the Adhesion Release Method—a technique that targets the root cause of chronic pain to help people move freely and reclaim their lives. He also holds certifications in Whole Food Nutrition and Sports & Human Performance.

When he’s not in the office, you’ll catch him lifting weights, golfing, exploring new spots, or cheering at a local game!

A common question we get: “What the heck is ADHESION?”

“Besides being the most common cause of chronic pain for people aged 30-50 that 9 out of 10 of our patients have never heard of, have you ever gotten a barely butchered 🥩 steak?”

Really cheap pieces of meat have layers of what looks like Saran Wrap on it.

See it peeled up in the picture?

That “Saran wrap” is the fascia.

Fascia is healthy tissue that surrounds our muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves, and bones.

Without fascia, we’d be a pile of meat and bones in the floor. The fascia creates bags for our muscles and other stuff to fit in.

Now, when muscles are overused or experience trauma, the body lays down excessive fascia in the form of ADHESION.

If you’ve ever seen a scar on someone’s skin, this is made of fascia underneath.

The Laying down of fascia is a healthy, life-supporting response of the body.

The problem is that, long-term, after decades of living, the ADHESION snowballs bigger and continues to become tighter and make muscles weaker.

Not a good recipe for longevity or aging well.

That’s why you should keep your meat raw and supple and not let it get cooked so it becomes dense, stiff, weak, and chewy.
