This practice encompasses all of Dr. Hearne’s proven successes in his previous practices combining them into a new cutting edge, full service optometric practice. The new practice includes an experienced staff that exceeds 50 years of patient ser

vice; so rest assured, you will be greeted by a familiar smiling face. The paperless patient flow allows for a high level of care and efficiency ensuring a timely, yet thorough visit. The mission of Hearne Vision Care is to be a local, independent eye care facility that provides the best in patient care. Services offered are eye health, distinctive designer frames, the best in spectacle lens designs, low vision rehabilitation, and advanced contact lenses all provided by a knowledgeable doctor and staff who are committed to improving the patient’s quality of life. Dr. Hearne is attending a contact lens seminar this weekend so the office will be closed for patient care. Phones will still be answered and the drive thru dispensing time at 11:30 will still be available. Ocular emergencies can call Dr. Hearne's Cell at
812-767-1218.

We will be closed on Tuesday for staff training in Indianapolis. There will be no drive-thru from 11:30-12:00.

Going to get a little personal as my colon cancer health issue from 2023 were publicly shared. I had my 13th colonoscopy yesterday and to my pleasant surprise I was officially released from care for 5 years! So my colon cancer scare is frankly behind me and I’m so happy to report that colonoscopy works and the timing of my first one has changed the course of my health forever better! Too many people to thank but I am so blessed.
