Today we had an amazing time celebrating the 16th Anniversary of our community as well as the retirement of our 16 year associate , Sandy Best. Our community has thrived for over a decade because of the dedication and commitment of Sandy. Sandy and her late husband were the original management team at Point Pleasant. From day one, Sandy and her husband Ray, laid the foundation of the team, many of which are still employed with us today! Point Pleasant has grown to be a strong vibrant community, building life long relationships and an amazing place for our residents to call home! Thank you, Sandy for all you have done and the legacy you will leave. You are loved and we wish you well as you move on to this next season of life! Congratulations to our community for 16 years of exceptional growth and service! Point pleasant is truly not like home, it is home!

Reunited once again! Meet Barbara and Norma. 68 years ago Norma was a bridesmaid in Barbara’s wedding. They have not seen each other in over 50 years. Unbeknownst to each other, they both chose Point Pleasant as their new home. One evening while in the dining room, they spotted one another! Immediately they embraced with tears streaming down their cheeks, as they were in complete awe! Never did they think after all these years they would reunite like this!

Just another amazing story of the relationships both new and old that are here at Point Pleasant!💜

Today our residents spent the afternoon honoring the hero’s of 9/11. A moment of silence, sharing memories, and expressing gratitude to those who serve. Thank you Bridges Hospice for spending the afternoon with us!
