Much of the growth that happens in therapy is quiet, internal, and often invisible at first. It’s the small shifts in perspective, the moments of self-compassion, and the ability to pause before reacting.

These changes might not feel monumental right away, but they’re the foundation of something bigger. Over time, this internal work starts to show—maybe in how you handle stress, communicate, or simply feel more at ease in your own skin.

And isn’t it such a beautiful moment when someone notices? When they say, “You seem calmer lately,” or “Something about you feels different”? That’s the external reflection of all the hard work you’ve been doing within. Keep going—it’s all adding up. 💛

Christiansen Counseling Group is hosting a back to school donation drive to support women and children in our community who are impacted by domestic violence. Donations will be delivered to Laurel House on Saturday, August 31. Any and all donations are so appreciated and will be used to empower women to send their children to school with the supplies they need to set them up for a successful school year.

You can drop off donation items to the below locations. Alternately, you can use the Amazon wish list posted here to send items directly to Christiansen Counseling Group (Sandi Christiansen). The items on the wish list are taken directly from the School Supply List on Laurel House’s website (included in the photos in this post).
