New Dam Road Fire Hydrants - The Public Works Crew will be flushing all of the fire hydrants along New Dam Road today, Thursday, November 13th.

During this process, you may notice temporary discoloration or brown water. This is normal and occurs when naturally occurring minerals in the pipes are stirred up. The water remains safe, but we recommend:

Avoid doing laundry until the water runs clear. Run your cold water taps for a few minutes if discoloration occurs.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while this necessary work is completed!

Beginning tomorrow, our Crew will begin activating water main bleeders throughout the Community. This process allows a small, steady stream of water to flow through the pipes, helping prevent them from freezing during the colder months.

During the initial activation, you may notice brown or discolored water. This temporary discoloration is caused by naturally occurring minerals that have settled inside the water mains and become stirred up as water pressures fluctuate. While the water may appear unappealing, it is not harmful. Simply run your water until it clear, using an outdoor spigot or hose is the most effective method.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we prepare the system for winter!
