Studio began in August 2007 with a mission to share our love for Yoga with
others in a safe and nurturing environment. A place where we can get fit, develop
friendships and give back to the community all at the same time. Individually and as a community we choose to embrace and uplift others around
us through our actions of GIVING BACK. Our classes are designed to encourage
all who enter our stud

io. Classes are for adults and teens over 16 (exceptions are made, please contact us prior to the class). There is no child care available at the studio so please do not bring children to wait for you in the lobby. Email us at yapstudio1@aol.com

This month we are excited to feature Angela as our member spotlight!

She has been practicing yoga since joining Yap Studio in 2019.

Her favorite class is All Levels Yoga and Tone & Tighten, her favorite pose is extended side angle and chair pose.

When asked about her yoga goals, she said to improve strength, flexibility and balance.

When asked why she enjoys YAP Studio, she said I’ve always enjoyed aerobic exercise and walking, but I never realized all of the benefits of yoga until taking classes with a professional instructor. That makes all the difference, when doing the poses correctly. Liz makes the classes challenging yet safe for beginners to advanced. The added bonus is working out with a great group of friends.

Outside of yoga, Angela enjoys reading, walking, cooking, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

January 2026 Highlight:

We are excited to feature Jennifer as our member spotlight!

She has been practicing yoga for 2 years since January 2024 when she joined Yap Studio.

Her favorite class is All Levels Yoga and her favorite pose is a heart/chest opener using yoga blocks and Happy Baby Pose.

When asked about her yoga goals, she said to improve flexibility and strengthen her body.

“Yap Studio offers great instruction with an emphasis on safety while creating a calm/relaxing space.”

Outside of yoga, Jennifer enjoys walking, reading, baking and spending timr with her family and dogs. 🧘‍♀️
