Meet the Staff Monday 🌟

FUN FACT!

These great ladies both came to us the very same week, and we lovingly call them our “work twins” because they’ve grown together in their roles and continue to be a dynamic duo around the center.

Start your day off right with our wonderful Program Assistant, Sharon Blackburn!

She’s the first friendly face you’ll see bright and early each morning, always ready with a warm smile, a hot cup of coffee, and one of her famous breakfasts. Whether it’s her legendary pumpkin pancakes or her delicious snickerdoodle cookies, Sharon’s cooking is a comfort all on its own. Beyond the kitchen, she brings kindness, care, and joy to everyone she meets.

Outside of work, Sharon loves going on walks and taking trips to the mountains with her husband Shane of 32 years. She cherishes girls' days and sleepovers with her daughter Katelyn and granddaughter Ensley, and enjoys peaceful porch sitting with her pups, Gracie Mae and Lucy Lou. She loves God, her family, and the beauty of nature.

With 30 years of healthcare experience, Sharon is not only a comforting presence but also a true asset to our center. We are so thankful for all the love and care she brings each day!

Say hello to our amazing Program Director, Kristin Staley!

Kristin is known and loved by everyone who walks through our doors. She’s been part of our center for 12 years, mastering nearly every role and stepping in wherever she’s needed. With 23 years of healthcare experience, she truly is a jack of all trades and keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

When she’s not busy at the center, she stays just as active at home. Kristin has been married to her husband for 11 years and is a proud mom to three wonderful kids—a daughter and two sons—as well as a house full of fur babies! She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, canning her homegrown veggies, and attending church.

We’re so lucky to have Kristin as part of our Ruby’s family! 💛

🌟 Meet the Staff Monday: Derry Miller 🌟

This week’s spotlight shines on our amazing Office Manager, Derry Miller!

Derry has been a vital part of our team for 9 years, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes and supporting the center in all things numbers. With 12 years of healthcare experience, she’s not only a wizard in the office but also lends a helping hand on the floor when needed. Her dedication, knowledge, and heart make her truly irreplaceable.

Outside of Ruby’s, Derry stays just as busy! She runs a small duck farm, and her two beloved pitbulls, Harper and Lily, are her babies. If she had all the money in the world, she’d open a pitbull sanctuary—a perfect dream for someone who loves animals as fiercely as she does people.

Derry, thank you for all you do for Ruby's and for being such a dependable, compassionate, and hardworking part of our family!

The spotlight is shining bright on our amazing nurse, Anna Seeley!

Big or small, Anna handles it all—with love, compassion, and a calm presence that never goes unnoticed. Whether it’s a busy day on the floor or lending a comforting hand, she brings heart to everything she does. Anna's experience in the healthcare field is an accumulative of 21 years, and we have been lucky enough to have her for 8 of those years!

When she’s not at work, Anna is a full-time wife and mom, juggling basketball, volleyball, and everything in between like a real-life superhero.

But when the rare quiet moment comes around, you’ll find Anna curled up with a good book, her favorite doodles, and her cat—her perfect recipe for a peaceful evening.

Meet the Staff Monday 🌟
Say hello to our Community Outreach Coordinator, Beka Miller!

Beka began her journey at our center as a Program Assistant, a role she held for five years. Two years ago, she stepped into the position of Community Outreach Coordinator to share her love for our program and all the meaningful work we do with others.

Though her role has changed, her heart for our participants hasn’t. Beka loves them as if they were her own family and still enjoys being out on the floor with them whenever she can. All together Beka brings 7 years of quality health care experience to our team here at Rubys!

When she’s not working, Beka enjoys spending time with her husband and family, playing with her goofy doodle, Juno, and her old-soul, dachshund-spaniel mix, Rory, and spending quiet moments reading and sewing.

We are so grateful for her dedication and the joy she brings to our team! 💛

Today's spotlight for Meet the staff monday is Aveline Brown, one of our dedicated Program Assistants, who has been a cherished part of our center for 8 years!

Known for her fabulous fashion sense, glamorous style, and radiant smile, Aveline brings warmth, energy, and a deep love for our participants every single day. Her kind heart and joyful spirit make her a favorite among both staff and participants alike.

When she’s not at work, Aveline enjoys a brisk walk and fellowshipping with her Silver Sneaker team, spending quality time with her loving family. Her happy place is being surrounded by her 15 grandchildren.
Aveline adds 20 years of healthcare experience to the team!
