What draws you to Witchcraft? Many of us are called by our quest for healing, to reclaim personal power and spiritual agency.
Maybe you seek to practice a life affirming, regenerative, embodied spirituality that honors the earth as sacred.
Sometimes our blood simply awakens or responds to our ancestors' whispers.
Maybe the ever renewing cycles of sun and moon spoke to you. Touched by trees, plants, animals and a deep relationship with the earth.
Maybe your soul remembers.
Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit.
Perhaps in our hearts we always knew we were witches.

What anchors you in unsettling times? When the tides of life are rough and stormy it can be easy to let go of the captain's wheel, close your eyes and pray for better weather.
Leaning into your spiritual self-care helps ground and stabilize while assisting in regulating the inner emotional and mental landscape. This eases the over activation of your nervous system and allows for a reset.
In a sea of troubling situations, where opposing forces seek to keep us in a reactive state of constant overwhelm, dysregulation and fear, it is essential to build your tool kit of practices that support you. This includes reaching for outside resources when you are tapped out.
In difficult times, I find it is the foundational practices that become so critical to maintain - breath work, meditation, journaling and communing with my Spirit Guides, Allies and Ancestors.
Despite how hard it might be, I also prioritize time for rest and repair. Sometimes that is simply laying on the floor listening to soothing music or standing outside, connecting to the Earth or sharing a cup of tea with a friend.
Staying connected to what matters most to me, people and activities also are part of my plan.
A component of my personal Resistance Magick is to see joy and hold onto the meaning held within the small moments of being alive.
I don’t do all these things everyday, but I practice all of them regularly. It soothes my spirit (and my nervous system) allowing me to regroup and get my bearings.
This in turn builds resiliency and sustainability.
This is what anchors me.

There has been a lot of dialogue regarding whether or not Witchcraft is political.
For me, my Witchcraft has always been political.
Look around, modern Witches stand on the ground carved out by those who came before us. Paved by their courage, labor, tears, blood and sometimes their lives.
There are many reasons why witches met in secrecy, why folk magick practices were cleverly disguised from prying eyes and why lineages were broken or disappeared entirely.
Witches, and other marginalized communities, were and still are persecuted here and around the world.
I am able to be visible as a Witch because of privilege. Part of that is due to where I live and the time I am alive in. But others are not so fortunate.
I owe that freedom to those who walked before me.
They stood for what they believed in sometimes are great personal risk and sacrifice.
So, I will not be silent.

Is it intuition guiding you or something else like anxiety, self-sabotage or ego cleverly masquerading as inner guidance? And more importantly how do you know?!
Honestly, it can be tricky to discern what is driving the nudges and messages you are receiving and where they are sourcing from. But, you CAN develop your intuitive abilities and hone your Inner Knowing to gain greater clarity on what’s what when it comes to those “downloads” and vibes you are picking up.
Trusting our gut, listening to our intuition is essential for many reasons. This Inner Guidance System helps in many ways, in all aspects of our lives.
I believe if you practice magick and a self-directed spiritual path such as Paganism, Wicca or Witchcraft, developing your intuitive skills is critical.
Many of the spiritual practices within earth-centered traditions and magick require that you have developed your “inner knowing” and intuitive abilities. At the very least to have a solid understanding and working foundation when it comes to discernment.
There are many moments and situations where you will need to “check-in, and consult your Inner Knowing. And there will be times when you will benefit from reaching outside of yourself for external guidance from your Spirit Allies, Deities, Angelic Forces, Sacred Sources and the Universe.
Even a well trained and experienced Practitioner will have moments when they struggle to discern if it is their intuition speaking or their anxiety and fears. But the more you develop your skills, the more grounded, confident and capable you will be at navigating the symbols and messages you are receiving.
You can begin to develop your Intuitive Guidance System with simple practices. A very easy practice is to get a simple deck of cards and guess which ones are red and which ones are black. Then repeat this once a week, more often to grow faster. Be sure to record your results over time.

Resistanc€ Magick can be leveraged for the dismantling of systems of oppression, the patriarchy or 🧊 frozen agendas.
It can also be designed to protect, strengthen, empower and assist the Resi$tanc€ itself. Or to aid in building the new world we seek to dream into being.

What does it mean when I say I practice Earth-Centered Spirituality?
For me, it means that I honor and center the Earth as sacred and that the divine resides within the physical world, not outside of it.
My spirituality is relational and embodied. I understand that I am not separate from all other beings on the planet, and nature itself, but inter-connected, part of the greater web of life. This includes all other beings and inhabitants.
I have always been highly sensitive and tuned into the natural world. As a child, I spent hours outside talking with trees, listening to the wind and sensing that there was far more to the world than just what my physical eyes could see.
I am an animist. I believe all of creation has its own form of sentience, even if it doesn't look like my own experience of sentience. It is through cultivating a mindful practice of presence, deep listening and entering stillness that I commune.
As a steward, living sustainably, reducing my impact when possible, composting, organic gardening, nurturing pollinator spaces & native plants, practicing harm reduction are just some of my values as an Earth-Centered Spiritualist, Witch and Pagan.

Real growth on your journey as a WITCH doesn’t come from playing it safe.
What I know from my own experience is this...
In order for you to really grow in your Craft, you are going to have to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
If you are more focused on playing it safe, seeking a quick fix, secret shortcuts and avoiding the deeper work, you are missing out.
Or perhaps you want to walk a fine line of neutrality, not stirring deep waters, and pursuing Witchcraft for entertainment or distraction or to avoid confronting challenges life throws at you, and the world.
Maybe you are thinking, well that doesn't sound like fun.
Can't I just skip that part and get right to manifesting my magick?

When you are pressed, worn thin and frozen in place.
When you are scared, overwhelmed and uncertain of what comes next.
In the crucible of adversity, potent magick is born.
When resources are scarce, innovation rises.
When visibility becomes dangerous, magick is a burning ember hidden from prying eyes.
When external forces seek to crush your spirit, let the inner cauldron shield you.
Find the cracks and plant the seeds.
And turn the mill of magick.

RITUAL & ALTARS - During ritual we cast our protective circle that holds us while we turn the mill of magick.

When you would rather curl up under a blanket and retreat from the world.
Witch Work will call you to lean in, not away.
To show up. To take action. To hold the line and stand for truth.
To hold space, to witness and lend your voice to the chant that breaks the silence.
It is about real life practices that turn the mill of magick and generates the heat of transformation.
