All Out Adventures

All Out Adventures All Out Adventures provides outdoor recreation programs to people with disabilities and their loved ones, seniors, and Veterans.

All Out Adventures provides outdoor recreation programming to people with disabilities and their family and friends, as well as senior citizens, throughout Massachusetts. We provide our programs in parks throughout Massachusetts at either no charge or just a nominal charge. We serve people of all abiilties and all ages at our programs. We are also a recumbent trike shop, and an authorized dealer of TerraTrike, Trident Trikes, and Catrike recumbent tricycles. We are experts at assisting people with selecting, adapting, and purchasing the trike that will meet their needs. Your purchase from us helps us to fund the programs that we offer to people with disabilities throughout Massachusetts.

"Thanks to All Out Adventures, we had 3 summers of experiences together."

Executive Director Karen Foster Cannon had the privilege of presenting to residents at a local senior living community earlier this week. A resident well-acquainted with us shared with his neighbors that he and his wife, who had been life-long avid cyclists, discovered our programs and the joys of recumbent trikes as she developed Alzheimers and could no longer ride her 2-wheel bike. Riding recumbent trikes supported them in maintaining their love of cycling together for 3 more years than they otherwise would have been able to.

Check out what it's like to attend a pickleball program with All Out Adventures! We can't wait to get back out on the (indoor) courts with you this coming winter!

Our program video models have been created in partnership with the Fields Center in Northampton and funded by a Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism's Community Impact grant.

Something we've been super excited about this year is making video models of our programs to help interested participants know what to expect when they arrive. While it'll be too chilly to paddle here in Massachusetts for a few more months, we love reliving these moments on the water!

We've been teaming up with the Fields Center in Northampton, supported by grant funding from the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism to make these videos. Check out what it's like to join us for kayaking and canoeing!

What a meaningful day Tuesday was, we were proud to spend it with many of our Veterans Program participants as a cycling contingent for the parade.

NORTHAMPTON — Tom Pease, a member of the color guard at Tuesday’s Veterans Day Parade in Florence, had the most accurate weather report of the day when he said from the microphone that it was a, “Brisk, cold, New England morning, but what can you expect.” But the weather didn’t keep away m...

What an absolutely glorious day we had on the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail in Sudbury yesterday! We got to be a part of several participants’ very first time ever exploring the trail because this program was the first time the adaptive equipment they needed was available to them. ❤️

Thanks so much to the Sudbury Commission on Disabilities for securing the funding and organizing the day and for the amazing avolunteer support from Janie Dretler, Sudbury Select Board and Chris M, the Sudbury representative to the Friends of the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail.

Last Friday, our series of National Park Foundationhikes that are helping make the New England Trail Corridor accessible to people of all abilities continued at Ashley Reservoir.
