Direct service providers often carry many roles at once—especially those working in the overdose crisis, harm reduction, outreach, treatment and residential programs, and recovery support. These roles place workers in a position to support people through deep personal, collective, and community grief.
Whether you're helping a participant after the loss of a loved one, witnessing community displacement, or navigating grief within your own team, it can be difficult to know how to show up and what to say. This training explores how we can better support participants, clients, and residents through their grief.
