🎁 Make a Difference This Giving Tuesday

During the excitement of holiday shopping, Giving Tuesday offers a chance to give back. It’s a day dedicated to generosity, compassion, and community impact. Every year, we invite our community to help power exceptional care through their support. This year, Giving Tuesday falls on December 2nd—just two weeks away!

🗓️ Mark your calendar now and join us in making a meaningful difference. Your gift, big or small, helps us continue the vital work we do every day in our Falls Prevention Program. Falls are a threat to the health of older adults and can reduce their ability to remain independent. However, falls don't have to be inevitable as you age. You can reduce your chance of falling or help a loved one prevent falls. Sadly, the CDC reports that more than 1 in 4 older adults fall each year leading to 41,000 deaths, 3.6M emergency department visits and 1.2M hospital stays.

🕊️ Bereavement Book Group – A Space for Healing Through Literature
Grief is a journey that no one should walk alone. Our virtual Bereavement Book Group offers a compassionate space for bereaved adults to connect, reflect, and find solace through shared reading.
📖 Current Book: Bearing the Unbearable: Love, Loss and the Heartbreaking Path of Grief by Joanne Cacciatore
🗓️ When: Every other month on the 2nd Wednesday, 5:30–7:00 PM (ET) - next one is December 17

Grief can feel isolating—let’s walk through it together. Join us for a gentle, supportive walk with others who understand.
🗓️ 2nd & 4th Fridays of each month, with the next one this Friday, October 24
🕥 10:30–11:30 am
📍 Childs Park (weather permitting)
This is a drop-in group for bereaved adults. After a brief welcome, we walk at a relaxed pace, share, and connect around our grief experiences.
