Can I get an "amen" up in here??? ✨

Just a gentle reminder from the icon herself. 💅🏻

Self-love isn’t selfish, babes; it’s the foundation. On the days it comes easily and the days it feels like a stretch, showing yourself a little kindness still counts.

Take a breath, soften your shoulders, and remember: loving yourself is a practice, not a perfection. 🩵

There’s still a lot we’re learning about autism, and research continues to bring more clarity. What we do know is this: autism isn’t caused by one single thing.

It develops through a unique mix of genetics, brain development, and environmental influences that interact in complex ways. Whether you’re a parent learning more about your child or an adult making sense of your own neurodivergence, understanding this can be a grounding and empowering step. And we are here for you. every step of the way. 💙

As the new year begins, we’re inviting a softer approach to growth 🤍
One that honors your nervous system, your identity, and everything you’ve already survived.

These resolutions aren’t about fixing yourself . They’re about caring for yourself with more intention, compassion, and support. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, showing up as your full q***r self, or moving through the world as a marginalized individual in systems that weren’t built with you in mind, your needs are valid here.

Go slow. Choose what feels nourishing. Let this be a year of gentler expectations and deeper care, friend.

Certain times of the year can quietly stir up anxiety and make it harder to feel steady or like yourself. A month, season, or stretch of time may carry memories or associations (some clear, some subtle) that affect your sense of calm and safety.

Many people know about Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), which is linked to changes in daylight and often shows up as low mood and fatigue in fall and winter. Seasonal anxiety is different. It can happen at any time of year and isn’t just about light; it’s often shaped by personal experiences, stress, or emotional reminders tied to a season.

If you notice your anxiety rising during certain times of year, it’s not random and it’s worth approaching with curiosity, care, and compassion. We are here for you, friend. 🩵🫂

The holidays can bring connection and complexity, especially for q***r folks navigating family dynamics, boundaries, and expectations. 💙

This season, self-care isn’t selfish. It’s protective. It’s about honoring your nervous system, your identity, and your right to feel safe and supported.

Whether that means choosing rest, leaning into chosen family, setting firm boundaries, or creating your own traditions: you’re allowed to do what’s best for you.

You deserve a season that holds softness, not survival. 🤍

We all deserve to be free to show up exactly as we are. 💙

Anxiety can affect anyone. But for people of color, it often comes with extra layers. Racial trauma, microaggressions, and barriers to care can make everyday stress feel heavier and recovery feel harder.

Your experiences are valid, and you don’t have to face them alone. Culturally affirming therapy can provide support, understanding, and tools to help you feel calmer, safer, and more in control. 💙

You deserve care that sees you, hears you, and meets you where you are. We are here for you as a soft place to land whenever you're ready, friend. 🩵

Halloween can be full of costumes, excitement, and social energy. But, it can also bring sensory overwhelm, pressure to “be on,” or old emotional patterns creeping back in.

Wherever you find yourself today- joyful, tired, nostalgic, overwhelmed, or somewhere in between- your experience is valid. You don’t have to “mask” your feelings to fit the moment.

As we move into the holiday season, give yourself permission to rest, opt out, set boundaries, or seek support when you need it. Your wellbeing matters just as much as everyone else’s. 🫶🏻

If you’re feeling haunted by anxiety, stress, or old emotional patterns, talking with a therapist can help you find clarity, grounding, and relief.
✨ You deserve a mind that feels like a safe place to be.

Wishing you a kind, gentle, and soul-nourishing Halloween. 👻🤍
