You love birth work, and you know it asks a lot from your body, heart, and spirit. This one-day gathering is designed for doulas with a few births under their belts who want to deepen skills, replenish energy, and connect with peers who understand the highs and challenges of this calling.
We’ll meet in the serene beauty of Temenos Retreat Center in Shutesbury, MA for a rich day of learning, practice, and connection. You’ll leave with new ideas you can bring straight to your clients and a renewed sense of purpose and community.
October 26, 2025, 10 am to 5:30 pm
Tuition: $250 early bird / $275 after October 1st
Space limited to keep the circle intimate
Possible option of adding on a night in a peaceful cabin if you wish.

CPMs, CNMs, and Doulas all train differently and come to the table with varied skill sets and different scopes of practice. It is not unusual for doula work to be an early step in a pathway towards eventually becoming a midwife. Sometimes midwives or nurses also attend my workshops to gain skills that doulas possess that are not typically taught in midwifery training. Knowing the difference can help you figure out what support team is best for you!

An incredibly lovely weekend was spent at the Temenos Retreat Center where Saturday’s “Better Cesarean” workshop was held. The doulas were such a great, engaged, and curious group that were all excited to bring new skills to their clients. The setting was the perfect peaceful backdrop for teaching, and I can’t wait to host doulas there for the Advanced Doula Retreat this October!

The Postpartum Doula Workshop has new dates! Join us this fall— October 4th, 5th & 17th, 18th.
Offering postpartum care can be sustainable, fulfilling, and impactful for families!
Just like birth doulas, postpartum doulas may also potentially be reimbursed by MassHealth if qualified! That is a huge win for doulas in Massachusetts!
