As October is about to come to an end I couldn't let the month slip away without recognizing that October is Domestic Abuse Awareness month.
On Monday November 1st, Care of Atchison County will celebrate 20 years of advocating for those that are in a domestic violence situation. Please come out and join them for their open house.
This is a great cause that needs recognition for all the great things that they are doing.

As our community has had a tragedy, Midway Equestrian and Stable Care Inc. would like you to know that we are here for you!

For the next 3 weeks we are offering on Wednesdays a grief support group. This may include being with the horses or not, working as a group to understand grief, or even just hanging out and having a few snacks.
On Thursdays we are offering mental health therapy sessions with one of our licensed counselors.

The instructors will work on decoding, fluency, barriers blocking comprehension, study skills and so much more.
