Apples, apples, apples! We’ve started the fall take over at our office and our groups all chose to make different Apple recipes! One group made Apple nachos with Apple crisps and toppings, one group made our take on caramel apples, and our oldest group found a recipe and completed all the necessary steps to making cinnamon apples! Our office was smelling pretty great this week! Following a recipe targets so many different goals and skills like, executive functioning, self advoacy, following directions, impulse control, sequencing, social communication, working together, problem solving, kitchen skills, activities of daily living, just to name a few!
