GIVING THANKS
In this season of giving thanks, I’m reminded how powerful it is to pause and truly feel the blessings that move through our lives—both the obvious ones and the subtle ones that have shaped us in ways we may not entirely understand. Gratitude is a doorway into deeper awareness, a gentle opening of the heart that reminds us we’re supported, guided, and connected far more than we realize. As we celebrate this Thanksgiving, may you find moments that lift your spirit, remind you of your inner wisdom, and bring you closer to the life you’re consciously creating. I’m grateful for you, your presence, and the courage you bring to your own unfolding.
A Soft Grateful Pause: A Daily Practice
1. Settle for a moment.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze. Take one slow breath in, and one slow breath out. Let your shoulders drop a little.
2. Notice one blessing.
Call to mind just one thing—big or small—that has supported you recently. It could be a person, a moment of clarity, a lesson, or even a challenge that helped you grow.
3. Feel it, don’t force it.
Let the feeling of appreciation rise naturally. Even if it’s subtle, allow it. Notice how it shifts your energy, even slightly.
4. Offer a quiet thank you.
Silently say “thank you” to the experience, the insight, or the presence that came to mind. Let gratitude land in your heart.
5. Carry it forward.
Open your eyes and carry that feeling with you wherever you go. Share it with everyone you meet. Return to your day with just a little more softness, knowing that this small moment of awareness ripples outward again and again.
