That moment when you realize you've spent an hour watching cat videos instead of working on your report that's been weighing on your mind for weeks!

People often think procrastination is about being lazy, but there's something deeper happening. Anxiety and procrastination are often connected - the more anxious we feel about something, the more we avoid it. And the more we avoid it, the more anxious we become.

When we recognize that procrastination often stems from our nervous system trying to protect us from perceived threats, we can begin to address the root cause rather than just the behavior.
