AUMF Activity Report 2025:
Paving the Way for High-Quality Healthcare in Ukraine
Dear Friends and Supporters of AUMF,
Thank you for continuing to partner with us in a mission of critical importance: strengthening Ukraine’s healthcare system and ensuring it meets the highest international standards. 2025 was a year of significant growth and profound impact, as we focused on key areas ranging from life-saving tactical medicine on the frontline to implementing advanced surgical practices.
Our vision remains unwavering: high-quality healthcare in Ukraine. Your investment in AUMF is a direct investment in the resilience, professional development, and future of thousands of Ukrainian patients.
OUR VALUES IN ACTION
Our operations are always guided by our core principles:
High ethical standards of medical practice.
Use of professional Ukrainian language and medical terminology.
Mutual respect between different medical systems and clinical approaches.
Openness to new ideas and projects.
Engagement of the knowledge, skills, and potential of Ukrainians around the world.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS OF 2025
1. Life-Saving Education:
Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC)
The TCCC.org.ua project remains our primary focus and one of our most impactful initiatives.
Our online resource and mobile application, TCCC.org.ua, averages 2,000 active users daily, underscoring its critical importance for medics and combatants.
At the Combat Medical Care Conference 2025 in Germany (July 2025), it was confirmed that our mobile app is widely used by international training institutions for teaching tactical medicine. The TCCC.org.ua project serves as a robust platform that unites tactical medics globally, helping foreign instructors train Ukrainian defenders.
We successfully completed the translation and publication of the ASSET+ manual. Its materials are already available online for free at tccc.org.ua, with the printed edition due in August 2025. This manual will serve as the foundation for creating practical surgical cadaveric courses in Ukraine, elevating the standard of trauma surgery.
2. Direct Exchange: Clinical Rotations
A core direction of our mission is enabling Ukrainian physicians to train in leading U.S. clinics, ensuring the implementation of the newest protocols in Ukraine.
In September 2025, Dr. Valentyn Vasylov, a highly accomplished orthopedic surgeon from Chernivtsi, successfully completed a four-week clinical observership in orthopedic and spine surgery at Grace Surgical Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.
Dr. Vasylov studied cutting-edge minimally invasive spine surgery techniques (TLIF, ALIF, LLIF) and modern patient care protocols.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Globus Medical for their support and equipment, and to Grace Covenant Surgical Hospital and Covenant Medical System for their hospitality. This experience will accelerate the development of world-class spine surgery in Ukraine.
3. Representing Ukraine on the International Stage
Combat Medical Care Conference 2025 (Germany, July):
Our booth was a hub for knowledge exchange and strengthening ties between medics from NATO countries, Singapore, South America, and Ukraine.
Heal Ukraine Conference 2025 (Boston, USA, November):
Our participation in this conference allowed us to present our achievements and discuss strategies for further cooperation with American partners.
FINANCIAL REVIEW: WHERE YOUR DOLLAR WORKS
This year, AUMF funds were allocated strategically to ensure the greatest possible impact. The largest portion, approximately 83%, supported translation efforts, allowing critical medical guidelines and educational materials to reach Ukrainian healthcare professionals and combat medics. Additional resources strengthened key initiatives, including clinical rotation (10.4%), administrative support (3.7%), and presentations and conferences (3.4%) that expand outreach and professional development.
Together, these investments directly enhance medical training, knowledge accessibility, and capacity-building across Ukraine.
PROJECTS IN PROGRESS
PHTLS (Prehospital Trauma Life Support)
A foundational resource for prehospital medical personnel.
In collaboration with Nash Format, the Ukrainian Resuscitation Council (URC), Public Organization Reformation, and NAEMT, we will ensure that paramedics, nurses, and emergency physicians receive this crucial manual, especially vital during the ongoing fight for freedom against Russian invaders.
Harrison’s Manual of Internal Medicine
One of the most authoritative manuals on internal medicine. Its translation will contribute to elevating the level of clinical diagnostics and treatment in civilian hospitals.
YOUR IMPACT CONTINUES
Thanks to your generosity, AUMF continues to fulfill its mission.
In 2026, we plan to expand our educational program, launch practical ASSET+ courses, and increase the number of clinical rotations for Ukrainian specialists.
We ask you to consider renewing or increasing your contribution. Every donation is more than money; it is a tool that translates knowledge and skills into lives saved and a stronger healthcare system.
