Hey there! 👋 We’re Kat & Nat—sisters, doulas, mothers, and second-generation Northfield “townies.” If you know us, you’re probably not surprised—we’ve opened a wellness studio. It’s been a dream in the making for years. 🌿💫

Welcome to Sanctuary Studio—a holistic healing space rooted in community and inspired by curiosity. Our mission is to hold, heal, and honor you through life’s most profound transitions. From the beginnings to the endings, and everything in between—we’re here to walk with you through every season of life. 🌱🌙

The path here? It’s woven with family roots and personal transformation. We come from a long line of Northfield entrepreneurs. Our grandparents ran Village Drug, where our grandpa Chuck was the town pharmacist. Our parents, Bob & Sue, owned the Ole Store Café for nearly two decades—serving up hospitality (and ole rolls) to locals and visitors alike. That legacy of community, care, and resilience shaped us. 💞

Kat was called to birthwork after witnessing Nat’s pregnancy and birth journey in Seattle. She became a certified doula in 2020, then a childbirth educator, and now supports families full-time (85 births and counting!). She’s passionate about the power of birth that connect us with our truest, authentic selves. 💪

Nat’s journey began after burning out in the tech world. A sound bath in 2016 cracked something open, reconnecting her to her intuition and setting her on a new path. She trained in LA and became a certified sound practitioner in 2023. Her work now focuses on end of life doula care and supporting all stages of life through sound healing and energy work. ✨

Kat brings the warmth of the sun—bright, grounded, and deeply present. Natalie moves with the rhythm of the moon—intuitive, spiritual, and soulfully attuned to life’s sacred thresholds. 🌞 🌚

Together, we created Sanctuary Studio—a space that honors the full circle of life. From birth to end-of-life, we offer doula care, childbirth ed, sound baths, reiki, grief support, community circles, retreats, and more. 💫
