We helped with and participated in a few events this weekend for the Northfield Jesse James Days 2025

Rotary bike tour water station, VFW breakfast, and parade.

Thanks to all the scouts leaders for helping. Lots of community engagement and lots of fun!

I think we forgot to take pictures of the breakfast, but had a good turnout of scouts helping.

Anyone interested in joining scouts ( formerly called Boy Scouts) go to goscouting.org (open to male and female starting in kindergarten.)

Day 1 of Many Point Scout Camp

In the mornings most of the scouts head out to work on merit badges. During the week our 23 scouts completed 49 merit badges! The scouts have a wide range of interests.

Archaeology, Automotive Maintenance, Basketry, Camping, Chess, Climbing, Communication, Emergency Preparedness, Fish and Wildlife Management, Fishing, Fly Fishing, Forestry, Golf, Indian Lore, Kayaking, Leatherwork, Mammal Study, Photography, Pulp and Paper, Rifle Shooting, Scouting Heritage, Search and Rescue, Shotgun Shooting, Sustainability, Weather, Wilderness Survival

We had a great trip to summer camp. One of the best adventures of the year.

Sunday started with a drive to Many Point Scout camp, then a very warm camp setup, swim tests, camp tour, and opening campfire program.

We have decided to cancel the scout swim test event that was scheduled for this Saturday, June 7 at the Northfield middle school. we did not have anyone register prior to today.
If folks were planning on attending we apologize and hope to see you in the fall.

Cooking campout @ Phillippo

Spring Camporee was a chance for our scouts to show off their cooking skills in a competition with other troops in our council. You know the food is good when the mascot wants some too.

Fun weekend camping in some interesting weather. We had a cabin this weekend for playing games, cooking, and hanging with friends.
