Thank you to North Shore Place for yet again giving us a beautiful space to hold our annual Memorial service. Loved ones came to honor and mourn those who passed away last year. Our hospice team also mourned our beloved hospice Rabbi Andy Bossov who died last summer. He played a meaning role in our memorial service, offering solice beyond words through his playing piano and singing.
Thank you to our owners, Peter and Helen, our social work team (Chaplain Renee , Judy, Angelica, Miles, Halina, Andrea and Intern Rachel). Thank you Suzanne for your beautiful voice. This year we adapted rituals of the Mexican culture “Day of the Dead” to help loved ones celebrate the life of their loved ones.

Our beloved chaplain Rabbi Andy Bossov died on Sunday after a brief but tough battle with cancer. He was a bright light in our hearts and helped so many patients with prayer, song and music. He will be greatly missed. May his memory always be a blessing.

Among attendees at yesterday’s memorial service there was a strikingly tender sight. The dog, once a beloved pet of her friend, has found a forever home. It’s a reminder of a deep connection which transcends loss. Bonnie (pictured here) is remembering her dear friend of 45 years , Joanne. ❤️
