ProMotion Spinal and Sports Rehabilitation We are a multidisciplinary team of professionals providing rehabilitative and regenerative care.

Marina Pajerski, DPT

Dr. Pajerski is a physical therapist who has been in practice on the North Shore since 2001. She holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine. Her interests are in sports medicine as well as in the rehabilitation of surgical joint replacements and spinal surgery. She has a special interest in sports injuries having been a figure skater herself. She continues to update her professional knowledge and has completed training in the McKenzie Methodยฎ and kinesiotaping. Previously, she performed home care rehabilitation for the patients of Chicagoland's prestigious teaching hospitals including Rush and Northwestern University Hospital. Kosta (Dino) Sotos, DC DACO

Dr. Sotos is a chiropractic physician who holds a diplomate in chiropractic orthopedics. His specialty is the conservative management of orthopedic disorders. His breadth of knowledge makes him an invaluable asset to patients. He has experience in multidisciplinary settings, including managing and directing rehabilitation clinics for orthopedic surgeons, medical internists, general surgeons and other chiropractors. Dr. Sotos holds an Honours Bachelors of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph in Canada. He subsequently completed an additional Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences. He actively continues to update his knowledge of the latest advances in orthopedic assessment and treatment.

Non-drug, non-invasive therapies like PT, Chiropractic and Shockwave Therapy are the MOST effective way to attack acute low back pain. But what if it persists?

A recent review of 18 studies identified the most effective non-opioid drugs for low back pain. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) alone was found to be INEFFECTIVE.
