We are deeply grateful to MolinaCares Accord, in collaboration with Molina Healthcare of Illinois, for their generous $55,000 contribution to Josselyn.

This support strengthens our adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) by helping fund clinical staff, transportation to services, therapeutic supplies, and program materials. Josselyn's IOP serves youth ages 8 to 17 (enrolled in fourth grade through high school) who are facing significant mental health challenges like depression, anxiety, or trauma. These resources play a critical role in access to behavioral health care for adolescents across our community.

Thank you to MolinaCares Foundation for investing in community-based mental health care and helping advance 𝘔𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘭𝘭.

Josselyn welcomes eight new interns to our 2025 to 2026 class!

On January 12, eight graduate-level interns began their training, bringing our intern class to a total of 35 emerging clinicians. This phased onboarding model allows us to provide consistent supervision and high-quality training while meeting community needs.

Interns work alongside licensed clinicians to gain practical experience in areas such as assessment, treatment planning, ethical practice, and culturally responsive care.

These real-world training opportunities help prepare them to support our communities now and in the future.

This January, Josselyn invites clinicians to take part in a three-part continuing education series focused on best practices and clinical strategies for working with children and adolescents. This series reflects Josselyn’s broader investment in building Centers of Excellence through specialized clinical expertise across all locations.

The next workshop in the series takes place on January 27 and is led by Dr. Timothy “T.J.” Schoonover. This in-person session focuses on child-centered play therapy and how play can serve as a bridge for connection, communication, and emotional processing in clinical work with children.

Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

The new year brings renewed intention.

Josselyn is hosting a three-part Continuing Education series in January focused on best practices for working with children and adolescents. This effort reflects our commitment to building Centers of Excellence through deep clinical expertise across all Josselyn locations.

In 2025, Josselyn trained 55 clinicians in EMDR. In 2026, we turn our focus to children and the power of play therapy. Play therapy supports emotional healing for children who may not have the words to express what they feel.

The series begins January 22. Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

Symptoms can include fatigue, low mood, changes in sleep or appetite, difficulty concentrating, and pulling away from social connection. These experiences are more common than many people realize.

Josselyn clinicians share evidence-based self-care strategies to help support emotional well-being during the winter months.
