We're celebrating all of our clients this week and continuing to teach people that is the little wins that matter, and the little wins we should be paying attention to.

If we're always waiting for a long-term goal to be attained, to be happy, we will never be happy. Because by you the time you complete those long-term goals you have new goals set up to surpass them.

So this week is podium week at Northglenn Health and Fitness. This means before the workout all of our clients are going to pick what their win is going to be, what they're going to try to accomplish, what they're going to feel good about doing, and what they're going to focus on. At the end we celebrate!

The second photo shows how Katherine felt when she chose that goal, a BIG goal I might add: 50 push-ups.... besides what was going on in her workout.

After she did it, she's feeling a lot better? She's accomplished what she focused on and she's stronger than ever!

Most people aren't going to have a goal of 50 push-ups. That's a bit advanced.

It might look like getting through all sets in your workout, or lowering the incline on your push-ups by one marker. Or it might mean doing five ring rows un broken. Or your first box step up If you haven't done it before and you did it today that's a win!

Live with your wins AND celebrate them! We have enough things in life trying to bring us down, don't do it to yourself. Build yourself up like you matter, because you do

The 6 week NHF Impact starts 10/27!

We will help you be consistent (the key 🔑) with daily habits over 6 weeks.

You will complete habits in these categories (and don't worry, we have a list from each pillar to choose from!)

I - intake
M - mindset
P - practices
A - activity
C - consistency
T - training

Each week we will pick a habit, I will guide you through weekly videos to help you choose. This can be done in person or online.

Ash loves learning.

Yes, she loves the benefits of the workouts, more energy, stronger, and more present with her little guy.

But when she can get into the details, the form, the technique and the WHY - she's all in!

And that is why NHF is a great fit for Ash.

We don't just throw weights at people and see let's see how much you can lift?!

We say, let's come in for your first session and assess how your body moves naturally without any weight. Just your body.

If we don't know how your body moves without weight, we have no idea what will happen once you start moving with it.

We care about you, therefore improving your form and technique matters just as much as increasing the amount of weight you can use - whether it's a band, a dumbbell, a kettlebell or even a barbell.

We would to hear what your biggest worries are about strength training so we can alleviate any concerns you might have so it's no longer a roadblock in your fitness journey.

What impact are your daily habits having on your life?

With the NHF Impact your life can literally change. And if you want that for yourself, we want it for you!

The NHF Impact is pretty simple, and that's why it works.

Our framework covers 6 different pillars of health, strength and fitness.

i – Intake
Food, hydration, social media, and relationships
Intake is everything you allow into your body and mind.

m – Mindset
Stress, sleep, emotional regulation, and self-talk
A calm, clear, and confident mind sets the tone for everything else. How you think and recover determines how you show up.

p – Practices
Routines, planning, and boundaries
These are the systems that help you stay focused when life gets busy. The more structured your habits become, the less effort it takes to stay consistent.

a – Activity
Movement outside the gym
Walking, stretching, bike ride, play with your kids outside, hiking and any intentional movement all count. Intentional activity keeps your body and mind connected between training sessions.

c – Consistency
Ex*****on and follow through
Progress happens when small actions are repeated over time. It’s not about perfection for 2 weeks, it’s about showing up for yourself even on the days you don’t feel like it – consistently.

t – Training
Strength, aerobic development, mobility, power and balance
This is where your physical capability grows and confidence takes root. Every rep builds strength that carries into every area of life.

Most people focus on the food and the training and you can see how that leaves so many pieces of the pie left untouched and therefore makes it that much harder to keep the food and training on track.

As you can imagine most of our clients work with us on training.
We do have clients that we work with only on the other areas of the NHF Impact.

At the end of the day, if you can move a small piece of all of these pies forward on your own you will get better results.

September 2025 was her 6 year anniversary and this month she is continuing to take advantage of her body's health and strength by going on a trip to Ireland and Scotland.

There is a difference between living longer and

LIVING longer.

Barb chooses to LIVE by not acting her age. She's not just increasing her lifespan she's increasing her HEALTHspan. That is what the NHF IMPACT can do.

Feet up, backs down, and still somehow working hard.

Wendy and Coach Dion might look like they’re relaxing, but this move opens the shoulders, calms the nervous system, and sneaks in some core work.

(Also great practice for the weekend already calling.)

Strength Makes Life Easier

I asked Kira why she made the appointment to come see us and she said something that we all have felt at times.

"I mean, it's not like, I'm gonna fall apart. I don't feel like that, but I definitely feel like, if my strength was higher, doing the everyday stuff would not be as difficult or challenging."

If you’ve ever felt like the stairs are harder than they used to be, or lifting a suitcase feels like a full-body workout, you’ll get it.

She didn’t join us to break records. She joined because she knows what strong feels like, and she missed it.

She trains 5 days a week with Coach Dion because......

Why does Wendy train with Coach Dion 5 days a week?

🧠 Because her job is non-stop and this is her reset button.
💃 Because sometimes they have dance parties mid-workout.
😂 Because laughter is part of the programming.
🌍 Because she’s got places to travel and she’s not sluggishly dragging luggage (or her body) through the airport.
🏋️‍♀️ Because strong feels way better than stressed.
❤️ Because this is her time AND she deserves it.

Not every workout ends with a boogie, but around here… it’s not that rare. 😉
