Join us in Pueblo to explore supported decision-making (SDM) as a best practice for providing integrated, decision-making support & as a less-restrictive alternative to guardianship under Colorado law (SB21-075).

SDM honors inclusion of all Coloradans in decision-making across their lifespan, ensuring dignity of choice, honoring an individual’s will and preference, and maximizing independence by using members of a supportive community to provide integrated decision-making support(s).

JOIN US TO LEARN MORE!

Just a few days left to complete our community survey! Due Date is August 10th.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who has participated so far. We have over 400 responses!

To make sure we get the best representation from the entire state to inform our next five year plan, we are inviting more responses from the following parts of Colorado:
📍Northeast
📍Northwest
📍Southwest
📍Southeast

The survey should take 5-10 minutes and can be found at the link below. We are asking for people with IDD who live in Colorado to complete this survey. Family members, caregivers, and service providers may assist in responding on behalf of a person with IDD.

The responses are important because they will help us better understand what matters most to people with IDD in living a meaningful life of freedom, choice, joy, purpose and love. Your honest input is important.

Should you request reasonable accommodations, or have questions, please email coloradoddcouncil@gmail.com.
