The 3-Day Experience was designed for women who want to step into motherhood feeling supported, informed, grounded, and empowered — not depleted before the journey even begins.

So many women enter pregnancy already carrying stress, burnout, overwhelm, and pressure to “do everything right.”

This experience created space to:
support your nervous system
improve wellness habits
strengthen mindset
reflect intentionally
build sustainable foundations before motherhood

The moms everyone calls ‘strong’ are often the most emotionally exhausted.

We praise women for:
• doing it all
• never slowing down
• carrying everyone emotionally
• pushing through exhaustion
• staying “strong”

But strength without support eventually becomes survival mode.

Some of the most capable women you know may be quietly overwhelmed.

Especially educators.
Especially nurses.
Especially mothers.

Especially the women everyone assumes are “fine.”

After years of caring for everyone else, many women don’t even know what support feels like anymore. They’ve become so used to carrying the mental load, managing emotions, anticipating needs, and holding everything together that exhaustion starts to feel normal.

But constantly surviving is not the same thing as thriving.

Maybe the goal isn’t becoming stronger.
Maybe the goal is finally becoming supported.

Mother’s Day has passed, and while many moms felt celebrated this weekend, today often looks very different.

The lunches still need packing. The laundry pile continues to grow. The family still needs her attention. The homework still needs support.

The endless responsibilities are still present.

The emotional and mental load haven’t disappeared.

After more than 30 years supporting children and families as a nurse, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply mothers carry the wellbeing of everyone around them.

At Grace and Grit, I want women to know they deserve support too — not just on holidays, but in everyday life.

The name, the nursery theme, the “must-haves”…

But what about preparing you?

Before pregnancy, your body is already doing important work—
It’s building nutrient stores and balancing hormones as it
creates a viable environment for your future baby to grow in.

And yet… most women are never shown how to support that.

This isn’t about doing everything perfectly.
It’s about becoming more aware, more intentional,
and more supported before you conceive.

That’s why I created this 3-day experience.

A gentle space to explore:

How many of us thought we were ready to get pregnant and have a baby?

After all, we had the Noah’s Ark nursery theme all picked out.
The gender-neutral baby clothes have been picked out. (Yes, this was the way we did it.)
The gadgets promising to make life with a baby easier were researched.

And it is exciting!

But very little attention is given to what’s happening internally with you.

No thoughts given to how we are feeding or moving our body, and certainly no thoughts regarding our capacity to navigate difficult conversations with our spouse.

Whether this is your first, second, third or subsequent baby....Before pregnancy, there’s a version of you that deserves attention too.

That’s why I created a gentle 3-day experience for women who are thinking about or preparing for pregnancy—and want to feel more grounded and connected before they begin.

We talk a lot about repairing relationships with our spouse and loved ones…

But what about how you speak to yourself after that horrific arguement?

Replaying that sad moment sends you into a spiral of guilt, followed by the nagging pressure to “do better next time.”

What if repair looked like this instead:

• speaking to yourself with understanding and kindness
• releasing the expectation that every conversation must be perfect
• giving yourself grace to be human

Growth doesn’t come from shame and guilt.
It comes from compassion for yourself, not just for those around you.

You’re not starting over—
you’re learning as you go.

Often, it’s not the sink.

It’s the weight of the day.

The mental load of keeping everyone clothed, fed and safe.

The decision fatigue around what’s for dinner tonight is real.

The expectation you hold for yourself to have “it all together.”

The quiet feeling of “I’m doing this alone.”

And when all that heats up, it boils over, comes out sideways and can make a big mess!

Repair doesn’t mean taking all the blame.
It means shredding the score card and choosing connection over being right in the moment.

Even a small moment of gratitude for your spouse and choosing gentleness can change everything.

You can come back from hard moments like this.
