Did you know of all the modalities I’ve learned over the past 23 years as a massage therapist, sports massage is one of my favorites! It was also one of the first modalities I honed in on for hands-on workshops.

Early on, I trained with leaders in the field such as Aaron Mattes and Paul St. John. Their methods shaped my approach to pre- and post- event massage and rehabilitative bodywork in general.

Last week, I had the privilege of working on a young man who plays baseball, but hurt his shoulder. He’s a pitcher and had a game a few days later. His mother, my client, brought him in for shoulder work. I asked her after the game how he did and she said he pitched 4 innings and had 12 strikeouts!

This is why I love massage therapy. This is why I love what I do.

I love getting to teach beginners yoga. Always good to start with the basics such as posture and form. The growth will happen. Don’t worry about how far you can reach right now. When it gets tough we shift and keep going. In life, we don’t give up when things get hard. We shift and we keep going. Same in yoga. Don’t stop! Just shift. Find your focus find your balance. 💛💙

A big chemical company bought my favorite beeswax lip balm, so I figured I’d make my own. Usually, you have everything you need in your kitchen and bathroom to make the best homemade herbal skincare. Honestly, I just threw this stuff together and it turned out wayyyy better than the stuff I’ve been buying for over a decade at the store. Yes. I’m extremely picky about what I put on my skin. I’ll post the recipe in the comments to make 1 oz. I quad the recipe to make 4 tons. You can also use used/recycled lip balm tubes. Save those empty tubes and fill them with this!

Everything you do, do from love. When you make a choice to negatively impact another person, you are setting up your own karmic backlash. Not theirs!

When you are vindictive and seek to hurt another person because YOU are upset, it is a testament to YOUR character how you choose to behave and react. Not theirs!

Things don’t always go the way we “want” them to go. But have faith. Things go the way they NEED to go for your highest good, growth, evolution, and healing.

When you are reactive, coming from a place of bitterness, anger, fear, and pettiness, you will end up looking like a fool every time.

Be kind. Even when it’s hard.
Be kind. It’s really not that hard.

If you are staying in your lane, there’s nothing to worry about. If you are purposely causing trouble for others, that energy will come back to you.
Be responsible with the energy you bring to the world.
