Northport Highlands Senior Living Northport Highlands is a full service assisted living and memory care retirement community for seniors.

Northport Highlands' 27 assisted living units provide residents with the amenities, care and support they need to remain active and healthy. Our highly trained staff can assist with any aspect of our residents' daily routines and are on hand 24/7 to respond to medical situations. Residents enjoy senior living in studio, one bedroom or two bedroom homes (short term stays are available). Enhanced assisted living services are offered for residents who need additional assistance. At Northport Highlands, we offer 14 private studio apartments for persons with Alzheimer's disease and related memory dementias. Our memory care residences surround an inviting living room and cozy country kitchen - you'll often find residents enjoying meals, social events and programs in this common area. If you're looking to take advantage of the waterfront view, the beautiful patio and enclosed garden are popular spots for residents and their family members. Memory care staff are always on hand to provide residents with any care or support they may need.

We would like to thank the volunteers from Northport Arts Association, who visited us to put on a clay workshop. It was a great event! The residents created some very nice clay pieces, which will be fired, glazed, and then, finally, turned into some beautiful pieces. Again, thank you to the volunteers at NAA, for giving the residents this great opportunity!

“Remain in Touch”, a nonprofit literacy program, sent 2 volunteers, Kathy Wessell and Karen Hassevoort, to the Highlands, giving some of our residents the opportunity to record a children’s book, to send to their loved ones. The loved ones will receive a copy of the book, and a copy of the recording. The residents did a wonderful job! Both the volunteers and residents were very excited about this project, and look forward to doing it again. Again, we want to thank Connie Eisenhart, the coordinator, and Kathy and Karen, the volunteers, for giving us the opportunity to be a part of this special project!
