Our Story
Occupational therapy helps to develop the skills for the "job of living." Every person determines what his or her unique job of living includes. Using the horse's unique three-dimensional movement as part of a comprehensive treatment plan provides multiple benefits, from strengthening muscles, challenging balance, or enhancing modulation and sensory processing. The horse proves to be a motivating therapy partner who's movement is easily graded and who's personality can enhance sessions. The natural setting also provides multiple opportunities for exploration, adaptation, and growth. Therapeutic riding, or adaptive riding, is a safe, fun, and educational riding lesson that is adapted to meet the unique needs of the individual.
