New York Healthy Psychology, PC, is a clinical psychology practice treating anxiety disorders and depression, specializing in the treatment of symptoms in individuals who have experienced trauma (post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)) and treatment of psychological symptoms in individuals with chronic illnesses such as heart disease, cancer, and autoimmune disorders. Treatment model is integrative and evidence-based, utilizing a whole-person approach to reduce psychological symptoms, improve coping with chronic illness and pain, decrease stress, and increase a sense of balance and well-being. The MBSR facilitators have completed the highest level of training through the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts' Medical Center and have trained under the direction of Drs. Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli. Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for individuals is also available.
