If you're shaking your head "no"... it's time you come see me for a comprehensive eye exam. We can schedule you in very quickly. If you have vision insurance, the exam will be covered or mostly covered (varies by plan). If you don't have vision insurance, you still should get checked out. We offer affordable eye exams, frames, and contacts.

Do you have a child who isn't doing well in school, complains of headaches and eye fatigue? Your child may have myopia or nearsightedness, where they can see near but not far. If this sounds familiar, request the teacher move your child closer to the front of the class and get an eye exam with Dr. Lai. She can detect any visual impairment and prescribe the correct lens for your child. Now accepting new patients!!

Do you have a child who isn't doing well in school, complains of eye fatigue, and headaches? Are they seated far from the front of the class? Your child may have nearsightedness or myopia, where they can see near but not far. A simple fix is to get an eye exam with Dr. Lai. A full comprehensive exam will reveal any visual impairment, and she can prescribe and provide the correct eye prescription. Kids can choose their own frame!

Macular degeneration is an age-related eye condition where the retina is damaged and causes central vision loss. There is no cure. 😟
However, you can prevent it by taking vitamins like AREDS-2 🤔. If you are over 50 years old and don't have macular degeneration, you can take 1 capsule a day to help strengthen the retina. If you have macular degeneration, then take 1 capsule twice a day.

TIP: Use once-a-day olopatadine 0.2% in each affected eye if you experience itchy and watery eyes from allergies. Compared to Visine Allergy Eye Relief Multi-Action, patients preferred olopatadine because it was more comfortable and caused less eye stinging and burning. However, eyes treated with the Visine drops were less red in the eyes. Do you have more questions? Call our office, and let's get you for an appointment!
