Farshid Ariz, DMD is a graduate of the Boston University School of Dentistry receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1989. He returned to Boston University to receive his Certification of Advanced Graduate Studies in Periodontics in 1991. For the past 25 years, Dr. Ariz has been an Assistant Professor of Advanced Periodontics at the Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Craniofacial Pain, American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine, and the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, Dr. Ariz currently focuses on treating craniofacial pain, TMJ dysfunction, and sleep disorders. Dr. Ariz lectures in academia and presents at educational meetings with active involvement in TMJ & Sleep Therapy Research through non-invasive treatment methods significantly improving the quality of life for his patients. Shahdad Arami, DDS, is an expert dentist who works to transform the smile of every patient at Northridge Dental Group in Northridge, California. With specialized experience in general dentistry, as well as advanced knowledge of aesthetic and implant dentistry, Dr. Arami ensures patients receive the best dental care to maintain their best oral health. Dr. Arami started his career in general dentistry after graduating from the University of California at Los Angeles’ School of Dentistry in 1993. He went on to complete his general practice residency at UCLA, specializing in the treatment of phobic and medically compromised patients. As a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association, he’s gone on to meet the dental needs of hundreds of patients in California and still strives to expand his knowledge in the field through continuing education in the advancements of aesthetic and implant dentistry. With over 25 years of dentistry under his belt, Dr. Arami is remarkably attuned to his patients’ oral health needs. His longtime experience and expertise in giving special attention to patients with unique needs make him a compassionate dentist with a natural ability to put anyone at ease. Dr. Navid’s journey in dentistry began as a young student with aspirations to delve into the intricacies of science and fulfill his desire to contribute to the community. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors from UCLA. From there, he attended the University of the Pacific (UOP) School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and piqued his interest to gain expertise in the field of periodontology. He pursued his specialty in Periodontics at the University of Southern California, where he also earned his master’s degree in Craniofacial Biology. While studying at USC, Dr. Navid was engaged in multiple research projects focusing on new advancements in gum grafting, bone grafting, and dental implants. He also served as a contributing editor for The Journal of the Western Society of Periodontology. Dr. Navid is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Western Society of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association. Dr. Navid takes pride in helping his patients save their teeth for life. He thrives on working alongside other care providers who share a common goal: improving the overall health, function, esthetics, and quality of life of patients, through the gift of first-class dentistry. In his free time, Dr. Navid enjoys exploring new hiking trails around Los Angeles, photography, and making pizza. Dr. Mona Entezam has dedicated her 20+ years of career to educating and treating her patients with gentle and minimally invasive dental care. As a graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry with the highest honors, she is extremely proficient in the field of cosmetic and general dentistry. Dr. Mona continues to stay current with the latest technology and research on the safest dental methods and materials available. Her love of clinical dentistry and her caring approach to patient care add up to a dentist that the most discriminating patient will appreciate. In her spare time, Dr. Mona enjoys reading books, traveling, yoga, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Sahar Rezvani graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2010 after earning her Bachelor of Science from UCLA. Since graduating, Dr. Rezvani has continued her education by completing at least one or two continuing education courses every month. Dr. Rezvani has been a member of the American Dental Association since 2010 and is also a member of the San Fernando Dental Association, Spears Dental Study Club, and California Dental Association. Dr. Vaziri completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry and Biology at CSUN in 1987 and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1991 from UCLA School of Dentistry. He practiced general and restorative dentistry for 13 years in Culver City prior to attending USC School of Dentistry to complete his Specialty training in Advanced Endodontics in 2006. He has been practicing Endodontics and Microsurgery in Pacific Palisades since 2006. Dr. Vaziri is a Board Eligible Endodontist and a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Western Los Angeles Dental Society. Dr. Vaziri has taught general and emergency dentistry in the past at both UCLA and USC School of Dentistry. Having had the experience of practicing general dentistry has made Dr. Vaziri a much better clinician as far as treatment planning, predicting the final outcome, and certainly, patient management is concerned.
