August Theme: Science Lab 🔬🧪💡

This month, our little scientists rolled up their sleeves for some hands-on discovery! From fizzy chemical reactions to building strong structures, and exploring the wonders of light, each activity sparked curiosity, critical thinking, and lots of smiles.

Sensory seeking behaviors are a way many children get the input their bodies and brains need to feel calm, focused, and regulated.

Sensory seekers often:
🔹 Crave movement (running, spinning, jumping)
🔹 Seek deep pressure (hugging, crashing, squeezing into tight spaces)
🔹 Enjoy loud sounds or bright lights
🔹 Constantly touch objects or people

These behaviors aren’t disruptive — they’re meaningful. They tell us what a child needs to cope with big feelings and remain balanced.
