We are looking for greeters to work at our four funeral homes (Westland, Canton, Livonia, and Northville) on a part-time basis. Typical hours are 3-9 p.m., Monday-Sunday.

Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in service of the United States of America. We truly appreciate the sacrifice that was made on our behalf to keep America the “land of the free and the home of the brave.”

Did you know that the “National Moment of Remembrance” resolution was passed in December of 2000, which asks all Americans at 3 p.m. on Memorial Day, “To voluntarily and informally observe in their own way a moment of remembrance and respect, pausing from whatever they are doing for a moment of silence or listening to Taps.”

Mother's Day will be here before we know it: just a few more days to find that perfect gift. What's her favorite flower? Favorite chocolates? Favorite restaurant? Favorite hobby? You likely know what your mom would want.
