Join us Friday, August 15, 2025, from 5:30-7:00pm for Family Friday. Our August theme is "Observing Our Emotions." We will learn about ways to explore our emotions through fun and engaging science- based activities. Family Friday is part of our Circles of Hope program, which provides a family-centered approach to grief support by investing in children, supporting parents, and strengthening the family. Throughout the year, we offer this monthly-based program. Dinner is provided, along with break-out sessions, discussions, and activities to provide tools to help navigate the grief journey. Ages: 4-14.

Our Ongoing Teen Grief Support Group for students ages 13-18. We will be meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of each month virtually from 6:00-7:00pm, and on the 4th Tuesday of each month in person at New Hope Center for Grief Support (133 W. Main Street, Suite 113, Northville, MI). Information can be found at www.newhopencenter.net. Registration is required by a parent or caregiver.

First Steps Volunteer Training: Register to join us on Monday, August 25, 2025, 10:00am-11:00am at the New Hope Center for Grief Support Office (133 W. Main Street, Suite 113, Northville, MI 48167).
First Steps provides those who have experienced a recent loss a safe place to share their story, understand more about grief, and learn about the grief support programs and resources that New Hope offers. This program is offered through scheduled individual support with a Peer Support Facilitator at New Hope or virtually. If you are interested in being a First Steps facilitator or would like to learn more about this program that New Hope offers, please register to join us.

School-Based Grief Support Training: Monday, August 18th, 2025, 10:00am-12:00pm at New Hope Center for Grief Support (133 W. Main Street, Suite 160, Northville, MI). Lunch is included.
We are seeking volunteers who are interested in joining our School-Based Grief Support Volunteer Team. We currently serve in up to 60 schools, and provide groups in 10 schools. If you are interested in learning more about the opportunities we have and experiencing our training, which includes First Steps Advocacy Training and facilitating a group, please register to join us for our upcoming training.

Rocket Companies will provide a matching pool of $31,000 for the week ($3,500 per half-day / $4,000 per full-day). This match pool will be available to organizations in ALL MARKETS. From the daily match pool, Rocket Companies will match eligible donations by $25 until the daily match pool is met.
Donations of $25 or more are eligible for the Rocket Companies match pool. One donation per donor per day is eligible for the match pool.
For example, if a donor makes a $100 donation, only the first $25 of that gift will be eligible for the match. Alternatively, if a donor makes a $25 donation while the match is available, Rocket Companies will match the donation with $25. The match will only apply to donations of $25 or more. This match is a first-come first serve prize, and once eligible donations have been matched, the Bonus will expire.
