April is National Volunteer Month ๐Ÿค

We want to take a moment to say thank you to each and every one of our incredible volunteers. You are the heart of what we do, and because of you, we are able to create spaces for hope, healing, and new beginnings every single day.

As a peer support grief nonprofit, our mission is only possible because of people like you who show up, hold space, and walk alongside others in their grief journeys. Your compassion and dedication allow us to keep our programs free and accessible to those who need them most.

We truly couldnโ€™t do this without all of you. Thank you for making New Hope possible. ๐Ÿ’™

This Siblings Day, we honor siblings who are deeply missed and forever loved. We hold space for those growing up without their sibling beside them and recognize the lifelong bond that grief cannot break. ๐Ÿค

Today is National Siblings Day. While itโ€™s a time to recognize sibling relationships, it can be especially difficult for children who are grieving the death of a sibling. An estimated 963,000 children will experience the death of a sibling before adulthood (Judiโ€™s House, 2025). The NACG recognizes this reality and extends our support to those missing a sibling today.

Grief can feel deeply isolating, yet it quietly connects us through shared understanding. Compassion grows in this space. Even in the hardest moments, there is comfort in knowing others have walked this path, holding the same emotions and healing in their own time. You are never truly alone in what youโ€™re feeling. There is strength in that connection. ๐ŸŒฟ
