Yesterday was one of those special days at StoryPoint Northville Senior Living that remind us why we do what we do. Our leadership team came together with our residents to enjoy a spirited game of baseball against our sister community, Independence Village of Plymouth.

The laughter, the cheers, and the joy that filled the field were unforgettable. What stood out most was the way our incredible team united—not just as colleagues, but as family—supporting our residents with energy, passion, and heart. Moments like these remind us that it’s not just about the game, it’s about the memories we create together. ❤️⚾

Our memory care residents released the monarch butterflies they lovingly raised from eggs, thanks to the generous donation of supplies from a residens daughter.

Our residents enjoyed a fun and creative Painting With a Twist class this week! With guidance from our talented Life Enrichment Assistants, Patti and Sandra, everyone had the chance to paint their own unique masterpiece while sharing laughter and showing off their talents. 💛

🤝 Giving Back with Heart 💛

Last week, our residents participated in a meaningful give-back event with CARE House of Oakland County, organized by our wonderful Life Enrichment Assistant, Patti. They learned about the important work this nonprofit does to support children of abuse and helped assemble stuffed animals to comfort little ones after they complete a forensic exam. Such a simple gesture, but one that can mean the world to a child in need. 💛🐻

🌳☀️ Family Picnic Fun! ☀️🌳

We had the best time at the park with our Memory Care families! The weather was perfect for a good old-fashioned cookout hot dogs with all the fixings. Everyone had a blast playing yard games, and yes… even some axe throwing made it into the mix (safely, of course!).

It was such a great day full of laughs, good food, and time together. Big thanks to everyone who came out and made it so special! ❤️🍔🎯

🦖✨A Dino-Mite Day at the Planetarium! 🌍🌟

Today, our residents visited the University of Michigan Planetarium for a special presentation on dinosaurs. The show explored the history of these fascinating creatures and their connection to the modern world.

It was a great mix of science, history, and discovery — and a fun way to spend the afternoon learning something new.
