🌏 National Assisted Living Week 🌎

We started the week off with the Mayor Brian Turnbull proclaiming it’s officially National Assisted Living Week in the city of Northville! Our residents traveled to Asia on Monday with our Rendever virtual realty system and enjoyed some delicious Asian inspired food. Today with passports in hand we traveled to Europe. More fun travels to come, so stay tuned! 😃

I’m extremely proud to announce Monique as this month’s Excellence in Action recipient!

I always say this recognition is for team members who go above and beyond, and Monique is the perfect example of that.

She gives 100% every single day in her role as Housekeeping and Laundry Director, yet she still finds time to support others and genuinely connects with our residents. Her dedication, compassion, and teamwork do not go unnoticed.

Today durning our Beacon of Light time, I had the pleasure of folding clothes with Judy. As we worked together, she began sharing the many reasons she loves calling Pomeroy Living in Northville home. Her words were full of warmth and gratitude, and it reminded me of the strong sense of community and care we strive to create here.

Today was great ! For spirit week we dressed up like characters from Dr. Sues books (our residents loved it and thought it was hilarious). We enjoyed music from Dan the Piano Man. We also had a blast with manicures and music with essential oils. Today was a great day 😊
