Our story began May of 2004 when Peggy Sass-Simon, M.A.,CCC-A, opened the doors of Hearing Wellness Center with the mission to serve her community’s needs regarding their hearing healthcare. She had a drive to be different from her competitors by providing the most up-to-date evidence based practices, while also providing patients with an "at home" feeling.
Fast forward to fourteen years later and the practice is one of the most successful and respected practices in West Michigan. It has now grown to open a second location in Shelby, Michigan to serve those who live in an area where board certified audiologists are hard to come by. As of June 2017, a second audiologist Dr. Michelle Foos, Au.D.,CCC-A has joined the HWC family.

Eligibility: This contest is only open to those who post their story on our page and who are at least 18 years of age or older at the date of entry. Winner must be within travel distance from our Hearing Wellness Center locations (Norton Shores or Shelby, MI) to receive the hearing aid prize. All testing, programming, and services will be performed in our office. Employees of Hearing Wellness Center and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of employees are not eligible to participate in the contest. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Agreement to Rules: By posting an entry, the Contestant (You) agree to be fully bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. You agree to accept the decisions of Hearing Wellness Center as final and binding as it relates to the content of this contest.
Contest Period: Entries will be accepted on facebook.com/HearingWellnessCenter starting on December 10, 2018 and all entries must be received by December 31, 2018 at 11:59 EST.
How to Enter: The contest must be entered by submitting an entry using facebook.com/HearingWellnessCenter under “create post” tab. The entry must fulfill all campaign requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Hearing Wellness Center. You may only enter once. You must provide the information requested. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your subscription may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Hearing Wellness Center.
Prizes: The winner of the contest will receive custom fit binaural hearing aids with a 3 year manufacturer warranty/loss and damage and 90 days of services in Hearing Wellness Center’s office, valued at approximately $6,000. Contest winner will be financially responsible for their cleaning appointments and routine maintenance after 90 day period. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by Hearing Wellness Center. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted. The prize is non-transferable. Any an all prize related expenses, including without limitation to any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Hearing Wellness Center to use winner’s name and entry into the contest for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Winner Selection and Notification: Winner will be selected by community vote under the supervision of Hearing Wellness Center. Winner will be notified by telephone and email within five days following selection of the winner. Hearing Wellness Center shall have no liabilities for winner’s failure to receive information if given contact information is incorrect. If winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim prize within 30 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Receipt by winner of the prize offered in this contest is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Any violation of these official rules by winner will result in disqualification as winner of the contest, and all privileges as winner will be immediately terminated.
Rights Granted by You: By entering this contest you understand and agree that Hearing Wellness Center or anyone acting on behalf of Hearing Wellness Center shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the world, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, image, statements about the contest, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes; without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent. By entering this contest, you represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship and do not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, you will be disqualified at the sole discretion of Hearing Wellness Center. If the content of your entry is claimed to constitute infringement or any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, you shall, at your sole expense, defend, and hold harmless Hearing Wellness Center from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs, or expense, which Hearing Wellness Center may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s right.
Terms and Conditions: Hearing Wellness Center reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the contest. Hearing Wellness Center reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain integrity of the contest, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from a different IP address; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by campaign rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Should such attempt be made, Hearing Wellness Center reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability: By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Hearing Wellness Center and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: such entrant’s participation in the contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other medical equipment; the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or internet service; unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or promotion; electronic or human error in the administration of the promotion or the processing of entries.
